This is a warm cheesy shrimp spread that is perfect for spreading on crackers or bread.
- 3 - 8oz packages cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 pound cooked shrimp, finely chopped
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese just until smooth. Gradually beat in milk, then lemon juice. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour into 8-9-inch quiche dish or pie plate. Cover; bake 15 minutes or until hot.
Garnish as desired. Serve warm with assorted crackers, breads or vegetables. Leftovers may be refrigerated.
Tips: Marjoram may be substituted by basil, thyme or savory
