Waldorf Salad –Three meals a day


 This recipe serves 4


  • 2 cups diced apple, leaving on bright red skin
  • 1/2 cup salad dressing Salad dressing, mayonnaise type, regular, with salt
  • 1 1/2 cups diced celery Celery, raw
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans Nuts, walnuts, english
  • 1 tsp lemon juice Lemon juice, raw
  • 1/3 cup dates, chopped Dates, domestic, natural and dry
  • salt to taste Salt, table


Step 1

Dice apples, leaving on bright red skin. Add immediaitely to prevent discolouring to the dressing. Add celery then the uts mixed with the lemon juice and the dates.

Step 2

Season and pile into lettuce cups
