- 1/2 cup strong expresso
- 1/4 cup brandy Alcoholic beverage, distilled, brandy
- CREME
- 3 large eggs yolks Egg, yolk, raw, fresh
- 1/3 cup sugar Sugars, granulated
- 1/3 cup sweet marsala
- 1/2 lb mascarpone cheese Cheese, mascarpone
- 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream Cream, fluid, heavy whipping
- Sponge cake to fit a 9x13 pan
- cocoa and ground cinnamon as needed
- EXPRESSO CREME ANGLAISE
- 4 egg yolks Egg, yolk, raw, fresh
- 1/2 cup sugar Sugars, granulated
- 1 cup milk Milk, reduced fat, fluid, 2% milkfat, with added vitamin A
- 3/4 Tbs finely ground coffee Cream, fluid, light (coffee cream or table cream)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla Vanilla extract

Step 1
Line a 9x13 pan with sponge cake; squirt or dizzle syrup evenly over the cake. Top with1/2 cream mixture, sprinkle with cocoa and cinnamon. Repeat with rest of the cream mixture again sprinkling withcocoa and cinnamon. Garnish with chocolate curls.
