An older appetizer with a new spin!
- 8 oz gruyere cheese, shredded and Devide
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, firmly packed
- 3 Tbs pine nut
- 2 Tbs white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 bunch celery, cut in 3-inch pieces
- garnish fresh parsley chopped
Position knife blades in food processor bowl: add 1/2 cup cheese and next 3 ingredients. Process until smooth:remove food pusher. With processor running, slowly pour olive oil through food shute, blending just until mixture is smooth.
Transfer mixture to a bowl; stir in remaining cheese. Spoon into a heavy-duty zip-to plastic bag; cut a small hole in one corner of bag, and pipe mixture into celery pieces. Garnish with parsley
