A change from a smoked salmon pate

Ingredients

  • 2 smoked Rainbow Trout filets, . Bake and cooled
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp creamed horseradish
  • 2 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh chives
  • salt and freshly ground pepper

Method

Step 1

Remove skin from trout; and check for any bones. Place in medium bowl. Using a fork, flake trout into small pieces. Add remaining ingredients ; mix well and season to taste Transfer to a serving bowl , cover and refrigerate 2 hours. Serve with toasted pita bread, crackers or toasted baguette slices.
