Sherry Roast Pork


I have had this recipe for ever. Always popular with family and friends  This recipe serves 8


  • 1 5lb pork loin, back bone cut
  • 1/2 cup sherry Alcoholic beverage, sherry
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar Sugars, brown
  • 1 Tbs grated orange rind Orange juice, raw
  • 1/3 cup orange juice Orange juice, raw
  • 1 tsp non creamy horseradish
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard Mustard, Dijon


Step 1

Place pork loin on ribs in shallow pan. In a pan, mix remaining ingredients & bring to boil. Pour sauce over meat. Roast 325F for 35 mins per pound. About 3 hours for a 5 lb roast. Baste often during the first 2 hours. Should have a charcoal appearance.
