Sausage Biscuits

One of many biscuits but full of flavour and easy.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb uncooked hot or mild bulk pork sausage
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 c dry biscuit mix

Method

Step 1

Heat cheddar cheese, pork sausage and Worcestershire sauce together in a large saucepan. Stir together with a wooden spoon until the cheese has melted. Stir in the biscuit mix until smooth.

Step 2

Cool, then chill for about an hour for easier handling. Form into balls about the size of a nickel or slightly larger.

Step 3

Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 400F for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove place on paper towels to drain. Serve warm
