Salami And Sun-Dried Tomato Wedges

SalamiEasy inexpensive mouthful which and can be done 3 hours ahead.


  • 250 g cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tbs chopped fresh basil
  • 6 sun-dried tomato half, chopped
  • 10 slices white bread
  • 20 slices salami
  • 10 green olive, pitted
  • 10 black olive, pitted


Step 1

Blend or process half the cheese with basil until smooth. Blend or process remaining cheese separately with tomatoes until smooth.

Step 2

Cut rounds from bread the same size as the salami rounds. Spread a slice of salami with basil mixture, top with a bread round. Spread bread with tomato mixture, top with a slice of salami. Repeat with remaining salami, basil mixture and tomato mixture, making 10 stacks

Step 3

Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes Just before serving cut each round into 4 wedges. Top each wedges with 1/2 olive and secure with a toothpick.
