Pork and Pepper Skillet

Ingredients

  • Garlic flavoured cooking spray
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced Peppers, sweet, green, raw
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced Peppers, sweet, red, raw
  • 1 bunch green onions, cut into 2" pieces Onions, green, spring or scallions (includes tops and bulb), raw
  • 3/4 lb breakfast pork chops, cut into thin strips
  • 2 Tbs cornstarch Cornstarch
  • 1 14 oz can beef broth Soup, beef broth or bouillon canned, ready-to-serve
  • 1 Tbs garlic chilli paste
  • Hot cooked noodles or rice
  • sesame seeds Seeds, sesame seeds, whole, dried

Method

Step 1

Coat a large skillet with cooking spray, 2 seconds; heat over medium heat. Add sliced bell peppers and green onion, and saute3-4 mins. Remove skillet from heat and remove from skillet; set aside. Coat pork evenly spray and toss in cornstarch. Coat skillet with spray;heat over medium heat. Add pork, in batches, and saute 3-4 mins or until browned. Add bell pepper mixture, broth and chili-garlic past. Bring to boil; reduce heat, and simmer 8-10 mins. Serve over noodles or rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
