Japanese Spareribs

The first and best recipe for these nibbles or mail course
Ingredients
- 3 lbs lean spareribs or 3 pounds of cubed pork butt
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 small cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 Tbs ground ginger
- 1 Tbs msg optional
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 3 Tbs sesame seeds
Method
Step 1
Crack ribs and put in roaster, add just enough water to cover. Cover and simmer 40 minutes. Remove from heat, cool and cut into serving pieces (if spareribs).
Step 2
Place remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour mixture which has been well mixed onto the meat and marinate 2 hours at least. Turn occasionally.
Step 3
Remove meat and place on broiler rack. Broil on lowest rack till brown 7-10 minutes, basting frequently, turn ribs and continue to broil and baste another 7-10 minutes.
Step 4
Serve warm
