Hurry-Up Ham Puffs2013-06-20

Easy but impressive in a mixed platter
- 1 loaf sandwich bread, sliced lengthwise and crusts removed
- 1 jar deviled ham or minced ham
- 1 onion, minced
- 15 stuffed green olives, halved
- 1 egg white, beaten
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbs nippy mustard
Spread toasted lengthwise slices of sandwich bread with mixture of deviled ham and onions. Be generous and bring it right to the edges.
Top with halves of stuffed green olives, poke dot side up. Line them up in rows for easy cutting (You'll like pitted ripe olives, or sliced gerkins).
Cloud cover each olive with mixture of beaten egg white, mayonnaise and nippy mustard.
Bake slices in hot oven till puffs are golden. Depending on the size of the party you may want to make a few slices at a time to ensure they are served hot.
With a sharp knife, cut each slice into squares to serve
