Honeydew Melon Sorbet

  • 2/3 cup water Water, municipal
  • 2/3 cup sugar substitute (measure for measure)
  • 4 tsp lemon juice Lemon juice, raw
  • 1 honeydew melon Melons, honeydew, raw


Step 1

Combine water, sugar substitute& lemon juice in a small pan. Bring to boil. Boil 1 minute. cool 15 mins. to room temperature. Remove rind and seeds from the melon. cut into pieces. place melon in blender; process until smooth. Add sugar substitute mixture; process until blended. Pour into 8x8 inch metal pan; freeze at least 4 hours or overnight. Let stand 15 mins to soften slightly before serving. Scoop into dessert dishes.
