Different Caesar Salad

Ingredients
- 2 tsp garlic, chopped and mashed with salt
- 1/8 tsp salt Salt, table
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated Cheese, parmesan, grated
- 1 Tbs fresh lemon juice Lemon juice, raw
- 1 Tbs mayonnaise Salad dressing, mayonnaise type, regular, with salt
- 1 tsp anchovy paste
- 1 tsp dijon mustard Mustard, Dijon
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce Sauce, Worcestershire
- 1 tsp tabasco sauce Sauce, ready-to-serve, pepper, TABASCO
- 1/4 cup olive oil Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- salt and pepper Peppers, sweet, red, cooked, boiled, drained, with salt
- 1/2 cup prosciutto, thinly sliced Pork, cured ham, prosciutto
- 1 tsp olive oil Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 5 cups romaine lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
- 1 cup mixed greens Lettuce, mixed greens, raw
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Cheese, parmesan, grated
- 3 cups water Water, municipal
- 1 cup yellow corn meal Cornmeal, whole-grain, yellow
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt Salt, kosher
- 2/3 cup heavy cream Cream, fluid, heavy whipping
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Cheese, parmesan, grated
- vegetable oil Vegetable oil, canola
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated Cheese, parmesan, grated
- salt and pepper Peppers, sweet, red, cooked, boiled, drained, with salt
Method
Step 1
Mash garlic and salt together and place in bowl. Add parmesan cheese, lemon,mayonnaise,anchovy paste, Dijon, Worstershire and tabasco. Sowly whisk oil in as a steady stream. Do not add to much at once or it will separate. Season to taste and chill.
Step 2
Fry prosciutto in olive oil,until edges curl, about 5 mins.stirring often. Drain on paper towel.
Step 3
Toss lettuces with dressing, fried prosciutto, and parmesan cheese. Top with croutons

Line baking sheet with 1/2" high sides with parchment paper; coat with Pam
Step 6
Bring water to a boil in a pan. Whisk in cornmeal and salt, reduce heat to med-low and cook until thick, about 5 mins.
Step 7
Stir in the cream and 1/2 c parmesan. spread mixture into prepared pan and chill 2 hours. Cut into cubes the size of dice.
Step 8
Heat oilover med-high in a non- stick skillet. Fry croutons in batches until golden brown on all sides, turning occassionally.
Step 9
Transfer to paper towel and season with parmesan,salt and pepper. Serve immediately
