Curry Cream Soup


Aunt Alma’s recipe  This recipe serves 8


  • 4 tins consomme
  • 1 8oz package cream cheese Cheese, cream
  • 1 heaping tsp curry powder
  • 3/4 cup sherry Alcoholic beverage, sherry


Step 1

Heat slightly the consomme. Put 1/3 cup consomme aside after heating

Step 2

Place everything else in the blender. Blend well.

Step 3

Pour into serving dishes ( Parfait or sherbert glasses look nice)

Step 4

Chill at least 4 hours or overnight. When cold, top with remaining consomme and chill.

Step 5

Top with a dollop of sour cream sprig parsley or chives
