Chicken Taco Casserole

I got this from Sheri Doyle while we were in Saudi. It is easy and a favourite of kids. This recipe serves 8
Ingredients
- 4 breasts chicken, cooked and shredded Chicken, broilers or fryers, breast, meat only, raw
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup Soup, cream of chicken, canned, condensed, commercial
- 1 dozen corn tortillas
- 1 brick monterey jack cheese, grated
- 1 brick colby cheese, grated
- 1 large can diced green chiles
- 1 large yellow onion, diced
- 1 Tbs chili powder Spices, chili powder
- 1/2 tsp each cumin, sage, oregano,garlic powder,parsley flakes
Method
Step 1
Heat soup,add chicken and juices from cooking. Add all other ingredients except cheese and tortillas. Grate cheeses. Line (9x12) baking dish with 6 tortillas ---- Broken into pieces. Lay soup mix and cheese on top. Repeat with tortillas, soup and cheeses in layers. Bake 350 F 40 mins
