Brennan’s Fresh Spinach Salad


Very attractive, healthy and it taste great also. You may worry about the dressing but do try it. Use only  This recipe serves 4


  • 10 oz fresh spinach leaves, stemmed and washed Spinach, raw
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushroom Mushrooms, raw
  • 8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled Pork, cured, bacon, raw
  • 1 cup brennan's dressing (See dressings)
  • 4 large lettuce leaves Lettuce, iceberg (includes crisphead types), raw
  • 8 thin slices onion Onions, raw
  • 2 Tbs chopped hard-cooked eggs Egg, whole, cooked, hard-boiled


Step 1

In a large bowl, toss spinach, mushrooms,bacon, and salad dressing. Line four chilled plates with lettuce leaves, then mound some of the dressed spinach on each leaf. Make sure you divide the mushrooms and bacon as equally as possible. Garnish with sliced onion and chopped egg
