Avocado Citrus Salad

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbs cider vinegar Vinegar, cider
  • 2 Tbs vegetable oil Vegetable oil, canola
  • 1 Tbs sugar Sugars, granulated
  • 1/4 tsp salt Salt, table
  • 8 cups torn salad greens Lettuce, mixed greens, raw
  • 2 large oranges, peeled and sectioned Oranges, raw, all commercial varieties
  • 1 large grapefruit, peeled and sectioned
  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and sliced Avocados, raw, California
  • 1 cup seedless green grapes Grapes, red or green (european type varieties, such as, Thompson seedless), raw
  • 2 Tbs chopped pecans, toasted Nuts, pecans

Method

Step 1

Whisk together first 4 ingredients. Place greens in a large bowl. Add orange sections and next 4 ingredients. Drizzle with dressing, tossing gently to coat. Sprinkle with pecans, if desired. Serve immediately
