Andres Favourite Leg Of Lamb

This is an excellent way to do a leg on the BBQ or Oven This recipe serves 6
Ingredients
- 2 cups buttermilk Milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
- 2 Tbs chopped fresh Rosemary Rosemary, fresh
- 2 Tbs coarsely cracked pepper
- 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped Garlic, raw
- 1 4-5 lb boneless leg of lamb, butterflied Lamb, Australian, imported, fresh, leg, sirloin chops, boneless, separable lean and fat, trimmed to 1/8" fat, raw
- 3/4 cup ginger or peanut sauce ( President's Choice or other)
Method
Step 1
In a shallow dish, mix together first four ingredients. Add lamb and turn to coat all over. Cover & refrigerate 6-8 hours or better overnight. Turn lamb 3-4 times ( Can leave longer)
Step 2
On lightly greased grill over medium heat; cook lamb 15-20 mins per side, basting with one of the sauces, until desired doneness. Let meat rest 10 mins. Slice across grain and serve on a platter
