Vidalia Onion Casserole

Ingredients
- 6 medium Vidalia Onions, sliced 1/2-inch thick
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 pint sour cream Cream, sour, cultured
- 1 can cream of chicken soup Soup, cream of chicken, canned, condensed, commercial
- 1/2 tsp paprika Spices, paprika
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise Salad dressing, mayonnaise type, regular, with salt
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese Cheese, cheddar
- 2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
Method
Step 1
In greased casserole, arrange onion slices. In bowl mix next 6 ingredients. Pour over onions and bake 40-50 mins at 350F. Then top with crumbs dotted with mayonnaise. Bake another 5- 10 mins.
