Looking for some fun nuts for a party. These are simple and flavorful.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 Tbs water
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
- 3 cups pecan halves
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325F. Combine sugar, water, garlic salt, paprika, black pepper and red pepper in a large skillet. Bring to boiling over medium heat; boil gently, uncovered, for 2 minutes. Stir in pecan halves until well coated.
Step 2
Line a 15X10X1-inch baking pan with foil; spray foil with non stick cooking spray ; Spread nuts on foil. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or till browned, stirring occasionally. Cool, break apart large clusters. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week
