Ingredients
- 1/2 lb lean bacon
- 1 8 oz can water chestnuts
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F. Cut bacon strips in half. Wrap each water chestnuts with bacon, and secure with a toothpicks. Stand these up in a baking pan, and bake for 35-45 mins. Pour off grease, Combine ketchup and brown sugar. Pour over water chestnuts. Bake another 30 mins basting often with sauce. Serve warm with sauce spooned over each water chestnut.
