Sugar Snap Peas with Mushrooms and Bacon

  • 8 slices bacon Pork, cured, bacon, raw
  • 3 cups sliced shitake mushrooms (about 7 oz)
  • 1/4 tsp dried crushed red pepper Spices, pepper, red, flakes
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper Spices, pepper, black
  • 1/4 tsp salt Salt, table

Saute mushrooms and shallots in hot drippings over med-high heat 5 mins or until shallots are tender. Add peas and crushed red pepper; saute 1-2 mins until heated throughly.
