Southern Salsa Dip2013-06-20
Easy dip served in an edible dish with crisp vegetables
- 250 g cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tbs mayonnaise
- 1 120 ml can diced green chiles
- 250 ml (1 cup) chopped seeded tomatoes
- 50 ml finely chopped onion (1/4c)
- 1 large clove garlic, crushed
- 5 ml chili powder ( 1 tsp)
- 1/4 tsp salt
Blend cream cheese and mayonnaise. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and chill several hours.
To serve fill two halves of red peppers with dip. Serve with crisp vegetables.
