Smoked Salmon Rolls with Shrimps

This fabulous starter is an interesting change
Ingredients
- 12-14 thin slices smoked salmon (3/4lb)
- 3/4 lb peeled, cooked shrimps, coarsely chopped
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3-4 drops Tabasco
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp heavy cream
- TO SERVE
- 12-14 wedges lemon
- thin slices of buttered wholewheat bread
- Lettuce leaves for garnish
Method
Step 1
In a bowl combine the mayonnaise with Tabasco, paprika, tomato paste and cream. Stir in shrimps and spoon some of the mixture in the centre of each slice of salmon. Roll the slices with 2 forks and arrange on lettuce lined individual plates with a wedge of lemon on the side. Serve the salmon rolls with thin slices of buttered wholewheat bread
