Savory Cheddar Cheesecake 12013-06-20

A tasty cheesecake with hints of Christmas which is also a do ahead
- 1 lb sharp cheddar cheese (orange)
- 1 250 g package cream cheese
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 tsp grated orange peel
- 2 Tbs orange juice
- 1 Tbs dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
- Cranberry Orange Chutney (homemade or bought)
In processor blend cheeses and butter til well blended. Add remaining ingredients, pulse til just combined. Spoon into 8 inch plastic wrap lined springform pan. Smooth top. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours and up to 3 days.
To serve; remove from pan, remove wrap. Place on plate and let stand 30 minutes. Garnish with orange slices and cranberries. Serve with cranberry orange chutney.
