Rosemary Walnuts

An easy , healthy do ahead, pick-up
6 tbsp butter
1 tbsp dried rosemary, crumbled ( fresh is best)
3 tsp salt ( less if you want)
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
4 cups walnuts. pecans or almonds
Method
Step 1
Melt butter in a large saucepan. Remove from heat and add seasonings. Add the nuts and toss gently but well. Place the nuts in a shallow roasting pan in one layer. Bake at 325F until richly brown, about 10 to 15 minutes, shaking occasionally. They are nice served warm

Place nuts in a shallow baling sheet in one layer. Bake at 325F until richly browned, 10 -15 minutes, shaking occasionally. They are wonderful served warm but will store well as well
