This another version of using frozen hash brown in a casserole side dish  This recipe serves

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen hash browns, thawed (3/4 hour)
  • 1 cup diced onions Onions, raw
  • 1 10oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 pint cream Cream, fluid, heavy whipping
  • 1 stick (½c) butter/ margarine, melted
  • 8 oz grated sharp cheddar cheese Sauce, NESTLE, CHEF-MATE Sharp Cheddar Cheese Sauce, ready-to-serve
  • salt and pepper Peppers, sweet, red, cooked, boiled, drained, with salt

Method

Step 1

Mix onions, soup, sour cream, butter/margarine, cheese and salt & pepper, Add the potatoes and mix well. Pour into a 9x13 inch oven proof pan. Bake at 350F for 1 hour
