Pecan Cheese Spread


The first of two pecan cheese spreads for you to choose from


  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup pecans, toasted and chopped fine
  • 2 Tbs finely chopped scallions
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked until crisp and chopped fine
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese, grated coarse
  • assorted crackers


Step 1

In a bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, pecans, scallions, and bacon until combined well. Stir in cheese until combined well and pack mixture into a small serving bowl or crock.

Step 2

Chill the spread, covered at least 2 hours and up to one day.Serve spread at room temperature with crackers or bread
