Pecan Cheese Spread

The first of two pecan cheese spreads for you to choose from
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup pecans, toasted and chopped fine
- 2 Tbs finely chopped scallions
- 4 slices bacon, cooked until crisp and chopped fine
- 8 oz cheddar cheese, grated coarse
- assorted crackers
Method
Step 1
In a bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, pecans, scallions, and bacon until combined well. Stir in cheese until combined well and pack mixture into a small serving bowl or crock.
Step 2
Chill the spread, covered at least 2 hours and up to one day.Serve spread at room temperature with crackers or bread
