Ingredients
- 1 cup butter --no substitute Butter, without salt
- ¾ cup granulated sugar Sugars, granulated
- 1 large eggs Egg, whole, raw, fresh
- 1 cup flour Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, unbleached
- 2 cups quick oats Cereals, oats, regular and quick and instant, without fortified, dry, (oats)
- 1 tsp baking soda Leavening agents, baking soda
- ½ tsp cream of tartar Leavening agents, cream of tartar
Method
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar. Add the egg and mix inthe other ingredients. Chill in the refrigerator. Roll out thin and cut unto desired shapes. bake at 375F for 5-7 minutes. This mixture maybe dropped and flattened with a moistened fork before baking
