Green Onion Parker House Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 5.2 oz container boursin cheese with garlic and herb
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 12 oz package refrigerated layered biscuits
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 Tbs water
  • 2 Tbs parmesan cheese, grated
  • sliced green onion

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400F. Lightly grease a baking sheet. In a small bowl, stir together the boursin cheese and 1/4 C of green onions. Set aside.

Step 2

Unwrap biscuits. Using your fingers, gently split each biscuit horizontally into 3 disks. Place half of the biscuit pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Spread a scant 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture over each. Top each with one of the remaining biscuit pieces.

Step 3

Using a fork, in a small bowl, beat together egg yolk, and water, Lightly brush biscuit tops with yolk mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and additional sliced green onion.

Step 4

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden. Serve warm
