Grasshopper Pie


An old dessert which is resurfacing a a favourite again.  This recipe serves


  • 1 9" baked chocolate graham crumb crust
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows or 32 large marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup milk Milk, reduced fat, fluid, 2% milkfat, with added vitamin A
  • 1/4 cup green creme de menthe
  • 1/4 cup white creme de cacao
  • 1 1/4 cups whipping cream Cream, fluid, heavy whipping
  • green food colouring


Step 1

In saucepan, heat marshmallows with milk, stirring until marshmallows are melted. Chill until slightly thickened; blend in liqueurs. Whip cream until stiff:; fold into marshmallow mixture. Add few drops green food colouring. Pour into baked crust. Chill until firm at least 3 hours. garnish with chocolate curls, crushed peppermint candy or whipped cream
