Grand Style Ground Beef


This is out of the pantry easy if you have the beef thawed and these staples on the shelves.  This recipe serves


  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef Beef, ground, lean, (approximately 21% fat), raw
  • 1 cup finely chopped onions Onions, raw
  • 8 oz cubed cheese ( Velveeta, Cream[best] or cheddar cheese
  • 1 10oz can Cream of mushroom soup
  • ¼ cup milk Milk, reduced fat, fluid, 2% milkfat, with added vitamin A
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper Peppers, sweet, red, cooked, boiled, drained, with salt
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic Garlic, raw
  • ¼ cup ketchup Catsup
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce Sauce, Worcestershire
  • sliced olives -- optional Olives, black
  • 1 8oz pkg Butterflake refrigerator Biscuits


Step 1

Brown meat, add onion and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients except the biscuits. Mix well. Place in a casserole. Bake at 375F until bubbly, about 10 minutes. Place biscuits around edge of casserole. Top with olives. Bake another 15-20 minutes.
