Flaming Cranberry-Mincemeat Pie

An interesting twist on the old standard mincemeat pie. I found it impressive to serve and a little more tart than the original. Also it is EASY This recipe serves
Ingredients
- 1 pkg pastry
- 1 can whole cranberry sauce
- 1 1/4 cups prepared mincemeat
- 1 cup medium chopped pecans Nuts, pecans
- 2 tbsp sugar Sugars, granulated
- 2 tbsp butter melted Butter, without salt
- 4 tbsp Brandy
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven 425F. Line pie plate with pastry and crimp edges decoratively. Combine the cranberry sauce and the mincemeat in a bowl until well blended. Turn into the pie shell. Toss pecans in butter and then in sugar. Sprinkle evenly over cranberry mixture. Bake pie 35 mins or until golden brown & filling is bubbly. Cool 1 hour. Just before serving warm brandy, ignite and pour over pie. Serve at once
