A friend’s version of a French-Canadian spread which is great one toast at breakfast or on crackers with cocktails
Ingredients
- 1 lb minced pork
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, chopped
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup milk
Method
Step 1
Put all ingredients in a heavy pan. Stir and simmer for one hour stirring once or twice while cooking.
Step 2
Pour into a shallow dish and refrigerate.
