Creamy Broccoli Soup

Ingredients
- 2 Tbs onion, minced Onions, raw
- 3 Tbs flour Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, unbleached
- 1 1/2 tsp salt Salt, table
- 3 cups milk Milk, reduced fat, fluid, 2% milkfat, with added vitamin A
- 3 cups chicken broth Soup, chicken broth, canned, prepared with equal volume water, commercial
- 1 10 oz package broccoli, frozen,chopped & semi thawed
- 2 cups carrots, thinly sliced Carrots, raw
- pepper Spices, pepper, black
Method
Step 1
Saute onions in butter til tender.
Step 2
Add seasoning and flour. Make a roux then grabut dually add milk stirring constantly to blen. Bring to boil and add broth, broccoli and carrots .Lower heat.
Step 3
Cook over low heat stirring constantly,. Do Not Boil, for about 25 mins or until carrots are tender
