Corned Beef Hash —Three Meals a Day (Original)


 This recipe serves


  • 2 tbsp chopped onions Onions, raw
  • 2 tbsp chopped green peppers Peppers, sweet, green, raw
  • 1½ cups chopped cooked potatoes Potatoes, raw, flesh and skin
  • 2 cups chopped corned beef
  • 2 tbsp milk Milk, reduced fat, fluid, 2% milkfat, with added vitamin A
  • ½ tsp salt Salt, table
  • 1/8 tsp pepper Spices, pepper, black


Step 1

Combine all ingredients very thoroughly. turn into a hot well greased frying pan. Spread hash well over the pan. Cover and cook over very low without stirring until a crisp brown crust has been formed ( about 40 minutes) Fold over as would an omelet, then turn on to a hot platter. Garnish with parsley Serve with Chili sauce or ketchup.
