Chippewa Soup

Similar to Potage Mongul but I prefer this one  This recipe serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 11 oz can green pea soup
  • 1 11 oz can tomato soup CAMPBELL Soup Company, CAMPBELL'S Red and White - Microwaveable Bowls, Creamy Tomato Soup
  • 1 11 oz can beef consomme Soup, beef broth, bouillon, consomme, prepared with equal volume water, commercial
  • 1/2 cup water Water, municipal
  • 1 cup 1/2 and 1/2 cream, heated Cream, fluid, heavy whipping
  • 1 tsp curry powder Spices, curry powder
  • 2 Tbs dry sherry Alcoholic beverage, sherry
  • chopped parsley for garnish Parsley, raw

Method

Step 1

With a whisk, combine green pea soup and tomato soup; add consomme and water.

Step 2

Heat to boiling point. Stir in remaining ingredients. Serve very hot.
