Chafing Dish Meatballs2013-06-20
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 large onion, grated
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 bottle chili sauce
- 1/2 large jar grape jelly
- juice of one lemon
- 2 lbs weiners or kielbasa, cut in 1/2 diagonal or 1/4 diameter rounds
Combine beef, egg, onion and seasonings. Mix well and shape into 50-60 meatballs. Brown and drain.
Make sauce of chili sauce and jelly and juice.
Mix meatballs and sausages into warmed sauce. Heat thoroughly and serve with toothpicks or cocktail forks
