Ingredients

  • CRUST Pie crust, standard-type, frozen, ready-to-bake, baked
  • 1 1/4 cups flour Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, unbleached
  • 3 Tbs sugar Sugars, granulated
  • 7 Tbs chilled unsalted butter, cut into pieces Butter, without salt
  • 1 large egg yolk Egg, yolk, raw, fresh
  • 2 Tbs whipping cream Cream, fluid, heavy whipping
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla extract Vanilla extract
  • FILLING Pie fillings, canned, cherry
  • 1/3 cup plus 2 tbsp packed golden brown sugar Cereals, QUAKER, Instant Oatmeal EXPRESS, Golden Brown Sugar, dry
  • 3 Tbs plus 1/4cup whipping cream Cream, fluid, heavy whipping
  • 2 Tbs unsalted butter Butter, without salt
  • 1 3 oz pkg cream cheese, room temperature Cheese, cream
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter ( do not use old fashion style or freshly ground)
  • 1 tsp vanilla Vanilla extract
  • TOPPING Cream, whipped, cream topping, pressurized
  • 1/2 cup packed golden brown sugar Cereals, QUAKER, Instant Oatmeal EXPRESS, Golden Brown Sugar, dry
  • 6 Tbs unsalted butter Butter, without salt
  • 1/4 cup water Water, municipal
  • 2 Tbs light corn syrup Syrups, corn, light
  • 4 Tbs whipping cream Cream, fluid, heavy whipping
  • 3/4 cup lightly salted roasted peanuts
  • shaved white chocolate to garnish

Method

Step 1

tart pan with a removable bottom. Trim edges. Freeze crust 15 mins. Line with foil, Fill with dried beans or pie weights. Bake until sides are set, about 10 mins.
