Blue Cheese, Port And Pecan Spread




  • 1 lb blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Tawny port, to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped Pecans
  • crackers


Step 1

In a food processor fitted with steel blade or in a blender in batches blend the blue cheese, butter, and port until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and fold in the chopped pecans. Transfer the spread to crocks. It keeps covered and chilled for up to 3 weeks. Serve at room temperature with crackers
