Ingredients
- 5 cups all purpose flour Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, unbleached
- 1 lb lard Lard
- salt Salt, table
- 2 Tbs vinegar Vinegar, white
- 1 large egg Egg, whole, raw, fresh
- Ice cold water
Method
Step 1
Mix flour, salt and lard together with a pastry cutter or 2 knives until the consistency of cornmeal.Mix egg, vinegar and ice water to make 1 cup.Add to flour and mix until just blended. DO NOT OVER MIX !!!Form a ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill slightly before rolling out
