Avocado Dip No 22013-06-20
- 2 large avocado, mashed
- 1 Tbs lime juice
- 1 canned green chili, minced
- 1 small clove garlic, crushed
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 4 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
Mash avocados and add lime juice, chili, garlic, and salt. Blend well and turn into small bowl; spread mayonnaise over top, covering the mixture completely. Chill at least an hour, although the dip may be prepared the day before.
Before serving, stir mayonnaise into avocado mixture; check seasonings, add more if needed, and garnish with crumbled bacon. Use corn chips as dippers.
